These European flagship space programmes, which embody what can be achieved when Europe works together, are already bringing real benefits to people and business in Europe and around the world In this context, the Market Development Department main responsibilities are related to develop the market, innovative applications, valueadded services and user technology that promote the achievement of full European GNSS adoption. The Market Development Officer will manage projects related to market and technology monitoring, adoption and market uptake, as well as research and innovation in the following areas Market and technology monitoring to support EGNSS adoption strategies Analysis of GNSS market size, trends, prospects and segments, highlighting in this context the specific role of EGNSS and synergies with other space services Research on the satellite navigation value chain, including chipsets and devices manufacturers, products and applications developers, and service providers Contribution to the flagship GSA publications GNSS Market Report and GNSS User Technology Report Analysis of GNSS technology trends and their evolution, including other technologies that complement GNSS Support to the User Relationship Management process, including the implementation of the periodic User Consultation Platform Definition of User Requirements by GNSS market segment, including the analysis and update of user requirements evolution and drivers Liaise with the Program teams to ensure consistency between Market Development and Service management activities Implementation of market entry strategy for EGNSS Implementation of EGNSS adoption roadmap for the assigned market segment Management of consultations of stakeholders and analysis of the feedbacks Cooperation with chipset and receiver manufacturers, system integrators, device vendors, value added service providers and users Comarketing activities with key players in the value chain Studies for technical feasibility analysis, including test campaigns and pilot projects with final users for validation Characterisation and implementation of marketing tools for EGNSS promotion Management of EGNSS RD project portfolio Preparation of technical specifications of RD projects aimed at filling existing technology gaps by developing receivers and user terminals corresponding to the identified user needs and market situations Planning, management of projects, both in the area of user terminals and applications, coordination with other departments such as procurement and legal teams, with technical and business experts and interfacing the main stakeholders In order to consider your application valid, you are required to fill in and submit the GSA application form, which can be found on our website httpswww.gsa.europa.eugsajobsopportunities A full job description and further information on the application procedure can be found here httpswww.gsa.europa.eusitesdefaultfilesjobsvngsa2019622mkdofficerad7.pdf
