On March 23, members of the media are invited to join OSA for the second event in its Light the Future speaker series with special guest Mary Lou Jepsen, executive director of engineering at Facebook and head of display technologies at Oculus. One of the world’s foremost display innovators, Jepsen will explore how the objectives, struggles, and achievements of the great optical scientists and engineers of the past can help unlock today’s challenges in optical communications.
