Mayfield Road - Mayfield Heights' long strip of mismatched shopping centers, highway entrance-ramps, restaurants and car dealerships - is constantly inundated with traffic. The city wants to redevelop the street to make it "more pedestrian-friendly, a little greener," with a more "uniform look and feel," according to Mayor Anthony DiCicco.
