Just hours after the New Orleans City Council approved the deal, Mayor Mitch Landrieu signed a 99-year lease that will lead to the redevelopment of the 33-story World Trade Center building on the riverfront. "Today is an exciting day for the people of New Orleans as the iconic building at 2 Canal Street is officially given new purpose as a Four Seasons Hotel and condominiums.
