Six Toledo city pools and the central city splash pad will open this year thanks to donations from four companies and a coalition of unions, Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson said Wednesday. The mayor - who led a drive last year to solicit donations to open Wilson and Jamie Farr pools in North Toledo - said all seven facilities this summer would be funded through a mix of donations from companies and in-kind contributions.
