Meat Market Update | Sales see boost as retailers restock shelves

Sales are usually good right after the holidays as retailers switch back to more beef items. There were 6,639 total loads sold which was 1,678 loads higher than the previous week. Loads sold was almost exactly the same as last year, as retailers once again aggressively restock shelves after the holidays. Ed Czerwien, USDA Market News Reporter read more
