Mechanical Engineer Design Deadline for applications ASAP Job Description For one of our clients located in Barcelona, Spain, we are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer Design with experience in the field of configuration management and technical integration in the area of buildings. The scope of the activity is the support to the F4E Office of the Chief Engineer in the control and monitoring of the buildings configuration and their physical and functional integration with the rest of systems. Tasks and Responsibilities Experience in configuration management and technical integration in the area of buildings Review, control and monitoring of Non conformities, PA Change Notices, Deviations, Direct Implementations, Project Change Requests PCRs and similar change management Input coordination to ensure a complete impact analysis and process followup of the above change management mechanisms Drafting of PCRs and the corresponding followup when the responsible for the PCR is an F4E staff member Implementation of monitoring tools to ensure exhaustive configuration control Experience in the preparation of the detailed design of mechanical components Experience in the use of at least one code and standard for the design of mechanical components ASME III, ASME VIII, RCCMR, RCCMRx, Eurocodes, EN standards, European Directives, etc. Experience in the production of builttoprint documentation Experience in the assessment of builttoprint documentation, checking both technical and economic aspects Experience in the definition of the manufacturing tolerances of mechanical assemblies considering the final dimensional requirements of the assemblies, including functional annotation General knowledge of arc welding TIG, GMAW or SMAW,andor brazing andor HIPping Experience in the definition of the design of mechanical systems based on relevant manufacturing processes forming, forging, rolling, joining, machining, assembly, testing, etc. Experience in the performance of FMEAs andor functional analyses andor reliability analyses andor spare part analyses. Requirements BEng in Mechanical engineering, construction, assembly or equivalent At least 4 years of experience with systems engineering concepts and methodologies from an implementation point of view like configuration management, change management, interface management, phase gate reviews, etc. The ideal candidate should have some experience in documentation management tools and product lifecycle management software Experience with CATIA, CATIA V5 and, ideally, ENOVIA. Experience with IBM DOORS for requirement management Proven previous experience in monitoring and follow up of projects, suppliers and business partners is mandatory Experience in the definition of the manufacturing tolerances of mechanical assemblies Good command i.e., around a B2C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages of both written and oral English Experience in the nuclear environment will be consider an asset Candidates must be eligible to work in EU Only CVs in English will be considered.
