A bag of harvested oranges is emptied onto a truck at a Sucocitrico Cutrale Ltda orange grove on the Santa Maria farm in Analandia, Brazil. Jose Luis Cutrale joined with Brazilian banking billionaire Joseph Safra in the $1.3 billion buyout of Charlotte-based banana company Chiquita, which was completed in January.
