Memphis International Airport to announce new carrier

The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority says that the announcement will come Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 10:15 a.m. Currently both Frontier and Southwest Airlines operate out of Memphis International, eliminated the two as possible candidates. However, Spirit Airlines , a low-cost carrier based in Miramar, Florida, has been in expansion mode recently.
