An exciting opportunity has just arisen to join Europes Meteorological Satellite Agency, playing a key part in managing the procurement of the launch services. This a challenging and rewarding role with 13 launches currently planned before 2040. The successful candidate shall participate in all aspects of the procurement process request for quotation, evaluation of bids and the final selection process. Along with a university degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject, the key candidate shall require skillsexperience in each of the following areas Extensive experience relevant to launch services technology Practical experience of the procurement, preparation and execution of satellite launch campaigns A deep knowledge of the launcher market A thorough knowledge of other related aspects, such as acoustics, vibration or flight dynamics, along with practical experience in the implementation of management processes including Quality Assurance processes and tools would be considered advantageous. Applicants require excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with a strong team leader and team player work ethic. All applicants must be EUMETSAT member state national with a good working knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
