VAN NUYS >> San Fernando Valley residents are being asked to share their thoughts in Van Nuys Monday on a multi-billion dollar ballot proposal that aims to hike sales taxes to pay for traffic congestion relief. The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority will host a community forum on a proposed measure for the November ballot on the 1-cent sales tax that would raise $120 billion for new highway, bus and rail projects and more.
