Michael R. Withers, VP of ride engineering for Walt Disney Imagineering in Glendale, CA, will serve 2-year term as ASTM International board of directors vice chairman. ASTM International member since 2000, Withers is vice chairman of Subcommittee F24.24 on Design and Manufacture, part of Committee F24 on Amusement Rides and Devices. He is active on several F24 subcommittees, represents ASTM on European Technical Committee CEN/TC 152, and has been ASTM board of directors member since 2009.
