Using Air Division Duplexing technique, which combines MIMO and full duplex transmission, Janus AirDuplex™ achieves up to 1 Gbps Carrier Ethernet data rates in single 28 MHz channel, and 2 Gbps in 56 MHz bandwidth. Unit is suitable for small cell, microcell, and macrocell mobile deployments for LTE/LTE-A and potentially 5G, providing alternative to fiber and mm-wave links. With antenna separation of 100 mm, it can be considered as quasi single-aperture antenna from licensing point of view.
