A background of at least 5 years in space hardware projects possibly with Earth observation instruments. Experience in project management positions or some exposure to it. The ability to follow satellite level Payload AIV activities. Some knowledge of PAQA processes and procedures Additional skills considering as an added value Previous experience in AIVAIT Experience of working on a collaborative programme between different partners TASKS Participation to Metop satellite AIV, Launch and Commissioning activities relevant to the MHS and NOAA instruments, including operation of the MHS EGSE, data analysis, preparation of procedures and test reports instrument ground testing at sc level, endtoend testing at system level, satellite inorbit verification. Maintenance of an uptodate plan of Metop satellite AIV, Launch and Commissioning activities requiring support for the MHS and the NOAA instruments. Follow up all activities related to MHS carried out by the Airbus DSUK and maintain a list of PDS activities and their status and expenditures. Follow up of all activities related to the NOAA instruments including AVHRR and SEM instruments onground calibration. Support inorbit checkout verification tests during MetopC In Orbit Verification IOV. Investigation of onground and inorbit instrument anomalies and support operations to the relevant recovery actions. Provide general support to the Metop Operations Team for MHS and NOAA instruments matters. Analyse and assess both onground and inorbit performances of MHS and NOAA instruments. Participation to instrument reviews and other meetings with industry and other partners such as ESA, NOAANASA. Maintenance of regular contacts with the above mentioned EUMETSAT partners and industry in relation to MHS and NOAA instruments. Maintenance of a status list of MHS action items, nonconformancesanomalies, requests for waivers and deviations. Preparation and maintenance of instrument related
