With 4 cutting edges and multiple corner nose radii available, VSM490-15 Inserts deliver true 90° shoulders and floors. Two insert geometries are available: MM (universal) for range of work materials; and ML (light) with sharper cutting edges for mild steels and stainless. Constructed of hardened-steel with hardened pocket seats for resistance to deformation, cutter bodies are made with tight tolerances to ensure minimum run-out and have integral chip gash design for chip evacuation.
