Mingling of MLS stats creates 'phantom' real estate boom

The Central Michigan Association of Realtors accidentally merged sales figures from two other real estate boards into its own stats and reported them to the Michigan Association of Realtors, making "it appear central Michigan was in the midst of a real estate boom," when the figures were released, the Mount Pleasant Morning Sun reports.
