Providing travel ranges from ¼–1 in., N-470 PiezoMike Actuators are available for ambient applications, and in high vacuum (10-6 Torr) and ultra-high vacuum (10-9 Torr) configurations. Units can be computer-controlled to facilitate automated adjustment of optics, lasers, and micro-mechanical components. When at rest, drives are self-locking, require no electric power, and generate no heat. Holding force of >22 lb and self-clamping design make actuators vibration-proof and shock-resistant.
