EUMETSAT is now embarking on new and challenging satellite development programmes, shaping its longterm future. Mission Control Functions System Engineer REF. VN1440 Supporting both our Operations and Services to Users and Programme Preparation and Development departments, you will take responsibility for the engineering, development and maintenance of Mission Control System Applications and related Tools for our ground systems. To this end, you will lead a team of software and system engineers and participate fully in specification, design, development, IVV and maintenance for all relevant Mission Control Functions, whilst advancing the technical skills set of our Ground Systems and Infrastructure Division. Alongside a degree in Engineering or another relevant discipline, you will bring experience of Mission Control Systems and maintaining largescale software systems in a highavailability operational environment. Equally importantly, you should be familiar with leading small teams and presenting complex information, and you will be fully versed in conceptual design, specification and architecture, spanning telemetry and telecommanding processing chains, procedure and schedule automation, data archiving and mission operations preparations tools. You should be fluent in English and have a knowledge of French.
