The former president and CEO of Leggett & Platt Inc. donated $6 million to MU's business school for a student leadership program. Cornell is a Joplin resident and former president and CEO of Leggett & Platt Inc., the national leader in production of bed springs, among other products, based out of Carthage, Mo.
