To facilitate integration of serial devices on edge of industrial networks with Ethernet network, IDS-M311 supports RS-232/422/485 and enables communications between 3 protocols commonly used in factories: RTU, ASCII, and TCP. This allows different Modbus equipment with non IP-based interfaces to communicate and exchange data over Ethernet. Along with dual power supplies for redundancy, gateway features compact enclosure with DIN rail design.
