MODBUS Interface Module (MODIM) provides gateway between MODBUS PLCs and Orbit®3 Digital Measurement System. Latter can then provide all process variables — temperature, pressure, force, rotary measurement and linear displacement — to PLC via one MODBUS interface. Access to complex sensor networks with varying interfaces via MODBUS parameters is thus enabled through one device. End-users can connect to Solartron gauging, displacement, and non-contact sensors as well as third-party sensors.
