Modular dual slot 6U VME64 SBC, VM601P1, is powered by QoriQ™ P1022 processor. Design separates computing core (processor, chipset, and memory) on COM Express module from carrier card, which typically contains system I/O, on which core is deployed. This allows computing core to be upgraded in order to keep pace with increasing performance demands. Also, this flexibility minimizes risk to critical infrastructure from obsolescence issues.
