We are currently looking for a Monitoring Applications Engineer to support our customer in Germany. Monitoring Applications Engineer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As Monitoring Applications Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities Maintenance and development of the Data Processing application software Definition and design of architectures of data processing ground segments Prepare for the introduction of newupgraded components Generation and maintenance of technical baseline documentation Contribute to the operations of data processing ground segments Analysis of the maintenance requirements Settingup and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures Perform routine tasks in operational systems under configuration control such as Anomaly investigations, documentation and classification Follow up of the delivery of SW resolutions for these anomalies Contribute to Configuration Management change control practices Building and distribution of application software releases and patches Perform SW testing and verification. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience University degree in computer science or another relevant discipline Engineering of large, UNIX or Linux based, complex, realtime systems in CC Technical writing skills, formal technical documentation OO software design, implementation, and maintenance, UMLSysML based tools Configuration management processes and applications Software build environments and tools e.g. IBM XL C for AIX, GCC compilers, make, automake, autoconf, RPM, source code control e.g. Subversion, git Software anomalies analysis, debugging, profiling, fixing and testing Fluency in English is mandatory another European language is an advantage.
