The number of cars on US roads has been increasing. The latest Experian Automotive Quarterly Briefing report says that there were 249.4 million vehicles in operation during the second quarter of this year, compared to 247.9 million a year earlier. About 25% ar from 2010 or later models; 93.3 million of the vehicles are in what Experian labelled the sweet spot 2003 to 2009 model years.
