More than $34m restrained from 'well-known' restaurant chain

Property worth more than $34 million has been restrained as part of civil proceedings against companies associated with a "well-known, Auckland-based restaurant chain," police say. A statement released this afternoon says police officers from the Northern Asset Recovery Unit today initiated the proceedings against "several companies" associated with the chain.
