RackStation NAS models RS814+ and RS814RP+ come with 2 GB RAM, upgradable to 4 GB, to accommodate multi-tasking requirements under heavy workloads. As 4-bay, 1U server, RS814(RP)+ is optimized for business environments and can scale to 8 bays using RX410 expansion module. Quad-NIC configuration fuels read operations at 300+ MBps and write speeds of 190+ MBps. For added redundancy, RS814(RP)+ supports Synology High Availability and MPIO failover to reduce network downtime as well as lag.
