COB (connector on board) series does not require metallic enclosures to use multipole connectors inside electric panels; protection is provided by electric panel itself. While interchangeability of connector inserts increases versatility, rear access to inserts via turnover device facilitates wiring inspection and tests with coupled connectors. Mobile parts are prearranged for clamping of bundles of conductors of multipolar cables to prevent contact with the connector contacts.
