Myanmar Apparel Exports in 1st Half 2018 (Country Report)

Myanmar's clothing exports have continued surging in the second quarter this year, however from relatively low levels. Whatever the sharp increase of minimum wages in May, Burma remains extremely competitive thanks to its duty-free access to EU's market which could however be withdrawn in the future, over poor human rights. Our statistical tables provide a comprehensive view of Myanmar's apparel exports per destination in second quarter 2018. Detailed EU and US import data per category of products over the same period are also released. Historical data are available for download covering the last 5 years (2013-2018)
