Myanmar Apparel Exports in 3rd Quarter 2019 (Quarterly Report)

Myanmar's apparel exports have continued to surge in the third quarter last year, especially to the European Union, where duty-free access has been granted further, whatever the political pressure from the EU's Commission. Minimum wages are expected to jump again in May, however. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive view of Myanmar's clothing exports in the 3rd quarter 2015-2019, including volume, value, and unit value changes per destination. A set of indices offers a 4-year approach. Knit, woven, and total apparel exports are separately displayed. US and EU imports per category are also comprehensively covered. All data are available for download.
