NEMA has published ANSI/NEMA HP 6-2013, which covers specific requirements for silicone rubber-insulated stranded wire designed for internal wiring of high reliability electrical and electronic equipment. Publication addresses 600 V (Type S, ZHS) and 1,000 V (Type SS, ZHSS, and SSB) wire and permits continuous conductor temperature ratings of -55 to +150°C with tin-coated copper or -55 to +200°C with silver-coated copper.
