NIST and Maryland TEDCO partner to encourage entrepreneurship.

NIST will let Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) administer NIST Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Program, which will offer anticipated 10 grants of up to $112,000 for specific project that can be completed within 12 months. Organizations will contribute resources, aid creation of start-up companies to license and commercialize NIST inventions, and host roundtables and workshops to increase awareness of entrepreneurship and technology commercialization opportunities.
