NRC says Harris nuclear plant in NC is safe to restart after year-old reactor problem found

As Duke Energy Corp. restarts a nuclear power plant that shut down for more than three weeks, Nuclear Regulatory Commission inspectors are promising to share what they found when they inspected early signs of corrosion and cracking inside the reactor vessel's covering.
