(Telecompaper) Nokia announced that Jesper Ovesen is to step down as executive chairman of Nokia Solutions and Networks, the group's network infrastructure business. A former CFO with a number of Danish companies, Ovesen joined NSN in September 2011 and helped lead the company's restructuring to narrow its focus to mobile broadband and improve cash flow. His departure follows Nokia's full takeover of the company in August. Ovesen will step down officially when Nokia's sale of its handset business to Microsoft is completed; this is expected to take place during the first quarter of 2014. After that he will continue as an advisor to Nokia, while CEO Rajeev Suri leads NSN.
