As alternative to thermocouples, NTC disc thermistors come in diameters from 2.54–12.7 mm and profiles from 0.64–5.33 mm and offer precision tolerances to 1% for accurate temperature measurement. Values include resistance at 25 °C from 4 Ω to 150 kΩ, Beta from 3000 to 5000K, and operational ranges up to +150°C. With dissipation constants from 3–17 mW/°C and thermal time constants down to 5 sec, products deliver stability and sensitivity for temperature measurement, compensation, and control.
