To be held by NTSB on February 27, 2013, "Positive Train Control: Is it on Track?” will bring together experts to discuss technological, regulatory, and operational status of Positive Train Control (PTC). NTSB Chairman Deborah A.P. Hersman, noting that industry is preparing to make "substantial infrastructure investments," said that "this is a timely opportunity to engage in the dialogue and advocate for this important safety enhancement."
