Able to handle up to 60, 14–24 in. wheels/hr with 2 available mechanical clamping ranges (14–21 in. and 17–24 in.), MD300/320 NUMTEC distortion measurement and wheel positioning machine is used for 100% process control measurement of alloy wheels before entering CNC machining cell. Design-side of wheels is measured with laser scanner mounted on moveable X/Y-slide arrangement. NUMTEC barcode system allows measurements to be automatically linked to mold and casting machine.
