NV Energy restores power after day-long outage on east side

A power outage caused by a motor vehicle accident has been nearly restored by NV Energy after a day-long outage affecting more than 2,000 customers on the east side of the valley. The accident was reported at 7:40 a.m. Sunday near North Sloan Lane and Honeygrove Avenue .
