NY power agency invests in Schoharie County cell service expansion

The New York Power Authority has invested $3.5 million to expand cell service in an upstate New York county. The Daily Gazette of Schenectady reports that NYPA and Verizon made an agreement to install new communications equipment on three towers along Route 30 in southern Schoharie County, between Middleburgh and Grand Gorge.
