Nashua board approves $1.1M in funding for Amherst Street renovation

Aldermen approved a $1.1 million private-public funding package last week that will finance a major redesign of Amherst Street. The redesign would eliminate a jughandle and add turning lanes to reduce traffic backups near Charron Avenue.
