National Weather Service Classifies Hawthorne Tornado

Brian Brong of the National Weather Service says the strong storm that tore through Hawthorne is classified as either a catagory EF 1. The tornado moved through the Hawthorne area damaging at least one business and knocking power out in the area. Several people in Hawthorne tell Channel 2 News a strong system moved through the area and ripped roofs off homes and businesses.
