We are currently looking for a technicianengineer to fill a position for Network Administration and Software Support Start date1st October 2015 LocationOberpfaffenhofen, Germany Required skills Engineering or network technician degree or equivalent qualification Experience in networks Experience in realtime operational environments and high availability systems Knowledge of the Galileo system and project advantageous Good team working and communication skills Fluency in written and spoken English German would be an asset Key tasks and responsibilities Network Support Maintenance of VIS and VDDS Video Systems in GCC Support of different networks in GCC Monitoring and Control of the networks and external communications interfaces Configuration Management of GCC network systems router, Switch, firewall, VPNs Adaptation and Maintenance configuration of the network components Execution of the software test on systems incl. Interface tests Support of the preparation of project documentation and proposals Representation the workinterests as part of a multinational team Maintenance of the SINA Equipment Maintenance and Monitoring the firewalls Oncall service Support of additional network projects Software Support Implementation of SW and Configuration Change Requests Active support of HWSW upgrade of GCS systems and elements Monitoring the system utilization Fault investigation of the ITServices and maintaining the operability of the SW Systems Preparation and validation of the SW support procedures Implementation of regular backups and antivirus checks of operational IT Systems Maintenance of ESA IT provisions with oncall support 1st level Support Establish and administrate groups and user accounts Implementation of daily checks on operational IT systems Training and instruction users Oncall support Support in the area of additional software projects Please send your application, your up to date CV and your salary requirements to Mrs Andrea Gerzer at hrinsyen.combefore 9th September 2015.
