Built into PNA-X Network Analyzers, source-corrected noise-figure measurement technique provides single-connection, multiple-measurement capability for users developing and testing low-noise transistors, amplifiers, frequency converters, and transmit/receive modules. Analyzers combine S-parameter vector-error correction and impedance tuner to remove effects of imperfect system source match. Solution also corrects for interaction between output match of DUT and noise figure of internal receiver.
