Come and help shape the development and deployment of our network infrastructure so that current and future satellite missions can be supported. EUMETSAT, the European meteorological satellite agency is recruiting a Network Architecture Engineer. Bringing together the resources of 30 Member States, we observe the atmosphere, ocean, and land surfaces from Space using a system of satellites 365 days a year. Our data is vital for weather forecasts that help to protect lives and property, as well as monitoring the environment and our changing climate. We want you to come and join our team to help us develop our communications network. With proven experience of communication network engineering in a highavailability, 247 operational environment, we are looking for someone who has experience of designing, developing and deploying network architectures to recognised standards. You will be involved in identifying, specifying, deploying and testing our network to develop the ground segments for future satellite systems. You will work with our suppliers and service providers, managing the procurement and service contracts. You need an indepth knowledge of Cisco technology, services and solutions and an ability to communicate complex technical information to audiences with different levels of technical understanding.
