The Position You will be part of a rapidly expanding team of highly skilled professionals who provide network design expertise to a range of customers in the aerospace sector. This position is based at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt. It is fulltime and permanent and expected starting date will be around March 2021. We are looking forward to meeting you! ResponsibilitiesDuties Provision of support, as required, to critical operations. Anomaly handling and troubleshooting. Monitoring of the communications infrastructure performance, issues investigation and the relevant corrective actions. Plan and design the network infrastructure and enterprise network solutions. Responsible for troubleshooting, installing, implementing and administering network systems and providing Tier III support. QualificationsExperience A university degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent. At least 5 years experience as ICT Engineer. Cisco CCNP certificate minimum up to CCIE level The successful candidate will have strong resultsoriented and planning capabilities, coupled with very good problemsolving skills and a pronounced customer focus. Applicants should have good communication and negotiation skills, be able to work in a diverse team environment and accomplish goals in line with team objectives. Essential Skills Indepth knowledge of Cisco technology and solutions for these environments Cisco Catalyst Switches c2K, c3K, c4K, c6K, c9K Cisco Nexus Switches Cisco ASA and Firepower Firewalls Cisco ISR and ASR Routers Cisco Load balancer Cisco WAAS Project management experience for shortlong term projects. An advancedlevel command of English and an ability to present output in a clear, concise and understandable way, both orally and in writing. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks without compromising attention to detail. Very good ability in writing technical documentation. Proactive and confident personality. Ability to manage assigned activitiestasks taking responsibility and respecting deadlines. Desirable Skills Familiarity with concepts of Virtualization VMWare, Microsoft Hyper V etc. Experience in network automation and scripting REST API, Python, RESTCONFNETCONF Knowledge of Linux and Solaris Operating Systems. German language is a plus.
