Weldblocks promote machine mount distributed modular architecture with IO-Link. Network node with IO-Link master communicates over EtherNet/IP with PLC or controller of machine, while IO-Link ports can be connected to variety of IO-Link enabled smart sensor devices or Balluff IO-Link I/O hubs.
