BusinessGreen: The new boss at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has used her first public speech since taking up the role to categorically reject accusations the watchdog's carbon legislation will damage the US economy. Speaking at an event hosted by Harvard Law School, Gina McCarthy argued there was ample evidence that environmental regulations can aid the economy and urged businesses to "embrace the opportunity of climate change".
