New United Airlines CEO Oscar Munoz said in an exclusive interview this week that the airline hasn't lived up to the promises it made five years ago Thursday when it merged with Continental Airlines, and he pledged to do better by paying more attention to customers and employees. Munoz seemed comfortable, conversational and contrite in discussing his plans in broad strokes but offered few specifics during an interview with the Tribune editorial board on Wednesday.
