New car sales rose by 30% in 2015 - SIMI

The figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show that the total new car registrations for 2015 stood at 124,945, while in 2014 the figure was 96,284. December car sales saw a slight decrease, down 1.44% compared with the same month in 2014, however, December volumes tend to be relatively small when compared with the rest of the year.
