Passenger car sales in India rose 6.06 per cent for the 10th straight month in August, driven partly by new model launches, even as the pace slowed down from a jump of 17.47 per cent during July. Industry body the society of Indian automobile manufacturers said sales over the past few months have been slow but they are on recovery mode.
