New ramp leading to the Verrazano Bridge opens

The wider, two-lane ramp with safety shoulders is included in the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's $50 million project to build and rehabilitate ramps leading from local roads and the Staten Island Expressway to the bridge, the MTA's Bridges and Tunnels announced.
